Spring Arbor of Anderson is seeking a dependable Cook to join our dining team. You'll play a key role in preparing meals our residents look forward to every day, in a supportive, team-oriented kitchen environment.

The primary role is to prepare food of the highest quality for residents and guests. The position is part-time, 20 hours per week, 2nd shift, with a pay rate of $17.21 per hour and no license is required at this time.

Qualifikationen

• Cooking experience preferred.
• Strong work ethic and reliability.
• Team-player attitude and attention to detail.
• No license or certification required.

Aufgaben

• Prepare delicious and attractive food that is colorful and tastefully presented making each meal service an exceptional occasion.
• Supervise the kitchen under the direction of the Dining Services Director (DSD) and Chef/Lead Cook.
• Prepare high quality meals consistent with local customs and tastes. Consistently adhere to the standard recipes, the budgeted costs and Company policies.
• Supervise and/or assist in the proper washing of all dishes, cookware, flatware, and utensils. Properly maintain all kitchen equipment. Monitor water temperatures and/or chemical compounds as appropriate to ensure the prevention of foodborne illness and the spread of communicable disease.
• Approach residents and associates in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
