Job summary

Arbor Landing at Pawleys is seeking a dining services assistant to support food preparation and serving for residents throughout the day. You will help maintain clean dining and kitchen areas while delivering friendly service and a dignified atmosphere.

You will work as part of a team under supervision, following sanitation and safety procedures, and you will respond to residents' requests with patience and professionalism. This role emphasizes respect and privacy for residents and families.

Qualifications

• Team player with a positive attitude and ability to work in a dining services team.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff.
• Awareness of HIPAA regulations and privacy considerations.
• High school diploma or GED; related experience not required or minimal.

Responsibilities

• Assist in food preparation according to the established menu.
• Serve residents in the dining room at breakfast, lunch and dinner.
• Clean kitchen, dining areas, equipment, and storage spaces daily.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly environment for residents and staff.
• Follow sanitation, safety and cleaning schedules and dress code policies.
• Respond promptly to residents' or families' requests for assistance.
