Job summary

Asbury Communities in York, PA is seeking a PRN Food Service Assistant to take and deliver meals in daily meal service. This evening shift runs 4:00–7:30 pm, Monday through Friday, with 2-3 days per week and every other weekend/holiday required.

You will engage with residents, trace logs and supplies, and uphold sanitation standards while delivering friendly, accurate service. No experience is required, and Asbury offers an inclusive, equal opportunity workplace.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for taking and delivering food and beverage orders in meal service
• Exhibits positive customer service by engaging with residents/customers and becoming familiar with their preferences
• Consistently completes entry into all log sheets as required i.e. meal counts, dishwasher temperature, etc.
• Records and stocks supplies in service areas, as needed
• Practices standards of food sanitation, infection control, and quality assurance
