The Residences at East Avenue in Hilton, NY is seeking an energetic Dietary Aide to support resident health through meal preparation, service, and sanitation. You will work closely with residents to ensure meals meet preferences, maintain a clean dining environment, and follow all safety standards.

This is a in-person, entry-level role with opportunities for growth within a compassionate, resident-centered care environment.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum age 16 years.
• Employment Certificate/Permit if applicable.
• Prior customer service experience.
• Physical stamina for constant activity.
• HS diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior food service or hospitality experience preferred.
• Candidates must read, write, speak and understand English at an intermediate or higher level.

Aufgaben

• Assist with meal preparation and service according to dietary guidelines.
• Ensure meals meet residents' preferences and needs.
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and dining areas.
• Interact with residents to provide a positive dining experience.
• Follow safety, sanitation, and regulatory standards.
• Assist in meal delivery and service according to department policy.
• Adhere to diet orders, texture changes and menu preferences.
• Perform duties as assigned during the shift.
• Assist in care and maintenance of kitchen equipment.
• Participate in staff meetings and inservices.
• Communicate with residents/family regarding meal service quality.
• Record timekeeping as directed.
• Arrive on time and work as scheduled.
• Follow facility dress code and wear name tag.
• Comply with device, computer, and HIPAA policies.
• Support Mission, Vision, and Values.
