Job summary

Harmony Senior Services, LLC seeks a dedicated Dietary Aide/Server in Murfreesboro, TN for full-time work. You will courteously serve meals to residents and guests, assist with menu orders, and help maintain a clean dining area.

Responsibilities include beverage service, restocking dining essentials, and reporting issues to supervisors. You will follow safety and confidentiality policies and support a welcoming dining experience.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and follow simple instructions.
• Must be able to learn quickly and apply learned principles.
• Must be able to communicate effectively and work under close supervision.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs on a regular basis and carry heavy objects for 20 feet.
• Must be able to stand and walk for sustained periods up to three hours at a time.

Responsibilities

• Serve resident and guest meals courteously and assist with clean-up and dining room reset.
• Assist residents with placing orders from the menu and provide beverage service.
• Refill salt/pepper/sugar bowls before and after each meal.
• Report any broken equipment or tableware to supervisor.
• Understand sit-down service and basic food preparation concepts.
• Sweep, mop, and vacuum kitchen and dining room.
• Attend required in-services and staff meetings; perform other duties as assigned.
• Be attentive to residents' special needs including mobility or memory impairment.
• Assist with tray service.
• Follow confidentiality policies regarding release of resident information.
• Interact in a polite, considerate manner with residents, guests, co-workers and supervisors.
