Job summary

Victory Station Harmony Management LLC in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, is looking for dedicated individuals to provide meal service to residents and guests courteously. Qualifications

• Clean designated uniform during working hours and maintain good personal hygiene.
• Read and follow simple instructions.
• Perform simple, repetitive tasks.
• Learn quickly and apply learned principles.
• Communicate effectively and work under close supervision.
• Bend, reach, grasp, push, and pull objects.
• Stand and walk for sustained periods up to three (3) hours at a time.
• Lift 50 lbs regularly and carry heavy objects up to 20 feet.
• Be organized and willing to work well with other team members.
• Be willing to work a flexible schedule that includes evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Serve resident and guest meals courteously, and clean up and reset the dining room following meal service.
• Assist residents when placing orders from the menu.
• Provide beverage service (water, iced tea, juices, milk, coffee/tea).
• Refill salt/pepper/sugar bowls prior to and after each meal.
• Report any broken equipment or tableware to supervisor.
• Understand sit-down service and proper serving techniques.
• Possess a basic understanding of food preparation (salads, desserts, etc.).
• Know proper food storage and labeling techniques.
• Sweep, mop, and vacuum the kitchen and dining room.
• Attend required in-services and staff meetings.
• Complete all other duties assigned.
• Be attentive to special needs of residents including mobility deficits, memory impairment, etc.
• Assist with tray service.
• Follow confidentiality policies regarding release of resident information.
• Interact in a polite, considerate manner with residents, guests, co-workers, and supervisors.
