Job summary

Harmony Senior Services in Nashville, TN is seeking a Server to courteously serve resident and guest meals and assist with dining room cleanup after meals.

You will assist residents with menu selections, provide beverage service, and help with tray service while maintaining cleanliness and following confidentiality policies. A flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and follow simple instructions.
• Must possess ability to perform simple, repetitive tasks.
• Must be able to communicate effectively and work under close supervision.
• Must be able to bend, reach, grasp, push and pull objects.
• Must be able to stand and walk for sustained periods up to three hours at a time.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs on a regular basis and carry heavy objects for 20 feet.

Responsibilities

• The Server provides courteous meal service to residents and guests and assists with dining room clean-up and resetting after meals.
• Assists residents with menu selections and beverage service.
• Reports any broken equipment or tableware to supervisor and follows proper serving techniques.
• Supports tray service and ensures dining areas are clean and orderly.
• Attends required in-services and staff meetings and adheres to confidentiality policies.
