Job summary

Hill Valley Healthcare in Tacoma is seeking a Dietary Aide to support residents with nutritious meals, uphold sanitation, and provide friendly service in a warm dining environment.

You will set up dining areas, assist cooks, deliver meals, and help with cleanup while maintaining safety standards. A high school diploma is required; food service certification is a plus. Join us to contribute to nourishing meals and a caring community.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Food service certification is a plus.
• Previous dietary aide experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up tables and dining areas with cleanliness and order.
• Prepare meals under guidance of dietary manager or cook.
• Deliver dishes and trays to designated rooms on schedule.
• Assist in post-meal cleanup and clear dining areas.
• Maintain hygiene by disposing of leftovers and taking out garbage.
• Keep food stations clean and wash dishes and utensils.
• Monitor ingredient stock levels and inventory.
• Contribute to upkeep of kitchen equipment and appliances.
