Job summary

Aventura Healthcare Group in Ohio seeks a dedicated Dietary Aide to prepare and serve meals, ensure sanitation, and support residents with a warm, customer-focused dining experience.

You will set up dining areas, assist in meal preparation under supervision, deliver meals to rooms, and help with post-meal cleanup while maintaining hygiene and inventory as part of a collaborative kitchen team.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a dietary aide.
• Knowledge of sanitation and safety guidelines.
• Skilled in meal preparation and using cookware/appliances.
• Friendly demeanor with excellent communication skills.
• Physical fitness and stamina for a fast-paced environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent; food service certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set up dining areas with cleanliness and order.
• Prepare meals under supervision, following safety standards.
• Deliver dishes and trays to designated rooms on time.
• Clear dining areas and collect plates after meals.
• Dispose of leftovers and manage waste safely.
• Keep stations clean; wash dishes and utensils.
• Monitor stock levels and assist inventory.
• Assist in maintaining kitchen equipment and appliances.
