Job summary

Aventura Healthcare Group is seeking a Dietary Services Aide to support residents with nutritious, appetizing meals in a compassionate team environment. You will set up dining areas, assist in meal prep, deliver trays, and maintain sanitation and inventory while following safety guidelines, under supervision of the dietary manager.

Strong communication, physical stamina, and a high school diploma are required; food service certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience as dietary aide or in a related food service role.
• Knowledge of sanitation and safety guidelines for food service.
• Ability to prepare meals and operate kitchen equipment under supervision.

Responsibilities

• Set up tables and dining areas with cleanliness and order.
• Prepare meals under direction of a dietary manager or cook.
• Deliver dishes and trays to rooms on schedule.
• Assist with post-meal cleanup and waste disposal.
• Maintain hygienic food stations and wash dishes and equipment.
• Monitor ingredient stock levels and support inventory.
• Help with kitchen equipment upkeep.
