Staunton Post Acute & Rehabilitation is seeking a dedicated Dietary Aide to support residents with nutritious meals and attentive service. You will assist in meal preparation, set up dining areas, and ensure cleanliness and safety standards are maintained throughout service.

In this role you will work under supervision, deliver meals on time, help with post-meal cleanup, and monitor stock levels to keep kitchens running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a dietary aide.
• Knowledge of sanitation and safety guidelines.
• Ability to prepare meals according to instructions.
• Friendly demeanor with strong communication.
• Physically able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent; certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set up tables and dining areas with precision.
• Prepare meals under guidance of a dietary manager or cook.
• Deliver dishes and trays to rooms on time.
• Assist in post-meal cleanup and clearing.
• Maintain hygiene by disposing of leftovers and waste.
• Keep food stations clean and wash equipment.
• Monitor ingredient stock levels and inventory.
• Contribute to upkeep of kitchen equipment.
