Job summary

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is seeking a Dietary Aide to assist with meal preparation and serving residents in a long-term care setting. You will ensure meals meet dietary needs, maintain cleanliness, and uphold food safety standards while delivering friendly service to residents and staff.

Preferred candidates hold a high school diploma or equivalent and may require ServSafe certification; ability to lift up to 30 pounds and work in a team is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• ServSafe or Food Handler certification required depending on state law.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds, push/pull up to 50 pounds, stand, sit, bend and walk for extended periods.
• Residency within the service area required.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation, including chopping vegetables and preparing salads.
• Serve meals to residents according to dietary needs and portion sizes.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and dining areas.
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
