Job summary

Harmony Senior Services is seeking a Server to courteously serve meals to residents and guests, assist with menu orders, and help reset the dining area after service. Role includes beverage service, aiding with tray delivery, and maintaining cleanliness in kitchen and dining areas.

Candidates should be able to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and follow simple instructions.
• Must possess ability to perform simple, repetitive tasks.
• Must be able to communicate effectively and work under close supervision.
• Must be able to stand and walk for sustained periods up to three (3) hours at a time.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs on a regular basis and carry heavy objects for 20 feet.

Responsibilities

• Serve resident and guest meals courteously and assist with tray service.
• Provide beverage service (water, iced tea, juices, milk and coffee/tea) and refill condiments.
• Assist residents with menu orders and maintain dining room cleanliness after service.
• Sweep, mop, and vacuum kitchen and dining room; follow confidentiality policies.
