Christian Care Living in Muskegon, MI is seeking a Dietary Aide to support the Dietary Department in providing nutritious meals and excellent resident service. You will assist in meal preparation, tray assembly, sanitation, and table service while following established policies and quality standards.

The role requires basic reading/writing, ServSafe knowledge is preferred, and availability nights/weekends to meet resident needs.

Qualificações

• Reads, writes and follows written and oral instructions; may include basic calculations.
• Basic knowledge of sanitation, safety and food service practices.
• Ability to communicate clearly with Residents, staff and supervisors.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in the preparation of meals, snacks, beverages and desserts as directed.
• Assist with tray line and tray assembly according to dietary orders.
• Help with loading carts and serving meals to Residents and staff.
• Sweep and wipe down areas; maintain clean and sanitary work areas.
• Store and label food items; assist with proper food storage.
• Operate dishwashing equipment and keep dishroom organized and clean.
• Attend staff meetings and follow facility policies and procedures.
• Report hazards, equipment issues or supply shortages to supervisor.
