Avenues Recovery Center in Norfolk, VA is hiring counselors for our new inpatient extended care rehab facility. You will create individualized, evidence-based treatment plans and conduct individual, group, family and couples therapy for a dedicated client caseload.

Requirements include a Master's degree in psychology or counseling and Virginia licensure. This on-site role offers generous PTO, comprehensive benefits and opportunities to grow within a compassionate, recovery-focused team.

Formación

• Master's degree in psychology, counseling or related field is required.
• Virginia state licensure/certification to practice is required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to maintain confidentiality.

Responsabilidades

• Create individualized, evidence-based treatment plans for each client.
• Conduct individual, group, family and couples therapy.
• Manage clinical needs and aftercare for caseload.
• Prevent, intervene and de-escalate in crises.
• Document client progress, relapse risk and interventions.
• Coordinate with Clinical Director and treatment team.
• Model recovery principles in every interaction.
