Job summary

Baylor St. Luke’s Medical Center in Houston is seeking a Chaplain to provide spiritual counseling and compassionate care to patients, families and staff across the hospital.

You will respond to codes and emergencies, lead worship services, provide sacraments, and collaborate with the clinical team to integrate holistic spiritual care in daily practice.

A bachelor and master in divinity are required upon hire; on-call 24/7 coverage is expected.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide in-house, on-call 24/7 spiritual care during codes, deaths, and emergencies.
• Lead worship services and sacramental ministry for patients, families and staff.
• Collaborate with hospital staff to integrate Clinical Pastoral Education into the hospital.
