Baylor St. Luke's Medical Center in Houston, TX, is seeking a Chaplain to provide spiritual care within the hospital community. You will offer compassionate presence, counseling, and sacramental ministry to patients, families, and staff.

In this role, you will collaborate with the healthcare team to advocate for spiritual needs, lead worship services, and respond to emergencies on a 24/7 basis, supporting diverse beliefs with empathy and professionalism.

Qualifications

• Provides direct spiritual, religious and existential care to patients, families and staff.
• Demonstrates empathy and adapts to diverse spiritual needs.
• Collaborates with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Responsabilités

• Provide 24/7 on-call spiritual care for codes and emergencies.
• Lead worship services for patients, families and staff.
• Provide sacramental ministry to patients, families and staff.
• Develop and maintain relationships to integrate the CPPEL program into the hospital.
• Act as liaison for patients, staff and community clergy to fulfill the department's public relations commitment.
