Markesan Resident Home, Inc. seeks a dedicated Housekeeper to maintain a clean, sanitary and homelike environment for residents, staff and visitors. Responsibilities include cleaning rooms and common areas daily, respecting privacy, and following safety procedures in accordance with state and facility policies.

The role requires ability to read directions, communicate with staff and residents, and comply with infection control and PPE guidelines. Flexibility for shift coverage is expected.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and understand written instructions.
• Experience in institutional housekeeping preferred.
• No illegal drugs; able to meet background standards.

Responsabilités

• Cleans resident rooms, bathrooms and common areas daily according to procedures.
• Respects residents' privacy; knocks before entering rooms.
• Disposes of trash and waste per facility procedures.
• Uses PPE and follows chemical safety guidelines.
• Monitors and reports hazards or maintenance needs.
• Participates in fire and disaster drills as required.
