Job summary

Platinum Communities in Wisconsin seeks a dedicated Housekeeper to maintain a clean, safe environment for residents, tenants, staff and visitors in assisted living communities. You will perform routine and deep cleaning of resident rooms, apartments, bathrooms, and common areas, ensuring proper sanitation and use of cleaning chemicals.

The role requires adherence to infection control procedures, PPE use when necessary, and respectful, discreet service that preserves resident dignity.

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years or older.
• Experience in housekeeping or environmental services preferred, especially in healthcare or assisted living.
• Ability to safely use cleaning products and follow SDS guidelines.
• Able to lift, bend, push, pull, and stand for long periods.
• Excellent time management and attention to detail.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English.
• Must pass background checks and health screenings required by DHS 83 and 89.
• Must have or be willing to obtain CBRF/RCAC certifications as needed.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning tasks in resident/tenant apartments and rooms, including deep cleans.
• Clean and disinfect common areas such as lobbies, dining rooms, hallways, restrooms, and activity spaces.
• Wash and maintain community linens as needed.
• Follow safety protocols, infection control procedures, and sanitation standards.
• Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely following SDS.
• Respect resident privacy, dignity, and comfort during cleaning.
• Report maintenance concerns or hazards to the supervisor.
