Job summary

Midwest Health Inc. is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to maintain cleanliness across the facility, including resident rooms, dining areas, hallways, and offices. You will perform tasks such as vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and floor care to ensure a safe, comfortable environment.

Responsibilities include complying with policies, reporting concerns, assisting in emergencies when needed, and maintaining resident confidentiality while providing respectful service.

Qualifications

• Regular worksite attendance.
• Must have basic computer skills.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
• Must be able to work beyond normal hours and on weekends/holidays when necessary.
• Must be able to assist in evacuation of residents during emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Vacuum resident rooms, halls and common areas.
• Sweep and mop tile and linoleum floors.
• Strip and wax floors according to schedule.
• Empty and clean trashcans and barrels.
• Clean bathrooms including sinks, toilets, grab bars, floors and showers.
• Dust ceilings, vents, lights and other high areas.
• Move furniture to ensure cleanliness.
• Clean dining areas after meals and events.
