Apploi is hiring a Housekeeper to perform day-to-day housekeeping tasks in our facility, ensuring a clean, safe and comfortable environment in accordance with federal, state and local standards. The role reports to the Administrator or Director of Environmental Services and requires teamwork with nursing staff.

The ideal candidate can read and follow written and oral instructions, is able to maneuver cleaning chemicals safely, and has the stamina to perform physical tasks, including lifting up

Formación

• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Must be able to follow written and oral instructions concerning cleaning compounds, disinfectants, etc.
• Must be willing to work harmoniously with other personnel and residents.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure housekeeping work schedules are followed as closely as practical.
• Report all accidents/incidents to supervisor.
• Coordinate cleaning services with nursing staff during routine duties.
• Clean, wash, sanitize, and polish fixtures and surfaces.
• Clean floors including sweeping, mopping, waxing and disinfecting.
• Dispose of waste and line trash receptacles.
• Follow safety precautions when handling chemicals and equipment.
• Ensure proper PPE usage when handling hazardous materials.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
