Platinum Communities in Milwaukee, WI seeks a skilled Cook to prepare, season, and plate nutritious meals for residents in an assisted living setting.

You will follow posted menus, accommodate special diets, ensure food safety, and support a warm, resident-centered dining experience through teamwork with dietary aides and staff.

This role requires a high school diploma or GED, at least one year of cooking experience, and the ability to work weekends and varied shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year cooking experience, preferably healthcare/assisted living.
• Knowledge of special diets and portion control.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow menus/recipes.
• Must be able to work weekends/holidays/varied shifts.
• Serv Safe certification preferred or willingness to obtain.

Responsabilités

• Prepare and cook meals per menus and recipes.
• Ensure meals are served on time and in portions.
• Follow dietary restrictions and resident preferences.
• Label, date, and store food safely.
• Maintain clean, sanitary kitchen and dining areas.
• Assist with menu planning and trainings.
• Adhere to health department regulations and DHS CBRF/RCAC requirements.
• Collaborate with dietary aides and staff.
