Job summary

You will supervise primary nurses, oversee QA activities, manage care plans, and coordinate with physicians, pharmacists, and therapy services to maintain residents' well-being.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent with graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Licensure: Current North Carolina licensure as Registered Nurse.
• Experience: Two years previous long-term care nursing experience preferred.
• An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Assures all clinical policies and procedures are maintained and communicated within the household.
• Oversees hiring, orientation, and evaluation of household staff to support quality outcomes.
• Ensures regulatory compliance through accurate charting and record-keeping.
• Drives quality improvement activities and professional audits to ensure care quality.
• Guides implementation of clinical policies for safe, sanitary and efficient nursing care.
• Develops and reassesses individual care plans in collaboration with physicians.
• Participates in admission processing, medication reconciliation, and care planning meetings.
