Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a Clinical Coordinator to lead clinical operations in the Wilmington, NC neighborhood under the Director of Nursing. The role emphasizes mentoring staff, regulatory adherence, and a person-centered, holistic care approach for residents.

The coordinator will implement policies, oversee staff training, participate in QA activities, support infection control, and collaborate with physicians and pharmacy to ensure high-quality care and safety.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent with graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Licensure/ Certification: Current North Carolina licensure as Registered Nurse.
• Experience: Two years previous long-term care nursing experience preferred.
• An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Assures all clinical policies and procedures of the household are maintained.
• Assuring the hiring, orientation, training and evaluation of the household staff.
• Ensuring regulatory compliance by encouraging proper record keeping and charting.
• Guides the implementation of clinical policies and procedures to ensure safe practices.
• Develops care plans and supervises residents' individual plans of care.
• Provides on-call supervision and participates in quality improvement activities.
