Job summary

EverTrue is seeking a Certified Medication Technician (CMT) to provide medication administration and supportive care to residents. You will work under nursing supervision and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to promote resident well‑being.

Responsibilities include documentation in the electronic health record, monitoring for side effects, and assisting with daily activities while maintaining resident dignity and privacy. This role requires current CMT certification and CPR/First Aid.

Qualifications

• Current CMT certification in the state of practice.
• High-school diploma or GED.
• CPR certification and first aid training.
• Prior direct care experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills.
• Desire to be part of the “Person Centered Care” team.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and administers medication to residents under nursing direction.
• Document care actions in the resident’s record.
• Observe residents for side effects and interactions.
• Provide daily care to meet residents’ needs.
• Assist with personal care and help residents maintain dignity.
• Support residents during meals and feeding as needed.
• Encourage resident participation in daily activities.
• Assist with therapies and treatments under licensed supervision.
• Maintain privacy and HIPAA compliance.
• Knock before entering resident’s room and follow safety procedures.
• Report hazardous conditions or incidents to Charge Nurse.
• Record vital signs and other health data in the EHR.
• Respond to incoming calls.
• Be prepared to cover roles as assigned by management.
