Job summary

The Staff Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) supports the Staff Physical Therapist in resident care and treatment planning within PACS facilities. You will document and communicate progress, assist with therapy sessions, and help implement individualized home exercise plans.

Strong computer skills, attention to safety, and collaboration with nursing and interdisciplinary teams are essential to maintaining quality post-acute care across our nationwide network.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree from an accredited PTA program.
• Proficient in computer skills such as inputting data into Net Health and Point Click Care.
• Ability to read technical procedures and policies.

Responsibilities

• Treat residents as directed by Physical Therapist.
• Complete timely, accurate, and compliant documentation.
• Maintain a safe treatment environment with infection control and safety protocols.
• Participate in Resident Care conferences and Rehabilitation meetings.
• Assist nursing with training Restorative Aides.
• Educate residents and families on treatment goals and home programs.
