Job summary

Stonecreek Health and Rehabilitation is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant to support individualized treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed occupational therapist. You will help residents regain independence in daily living activities and collaborate with a positive interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care.

A graduate of an accredited OTA program with an active state license is required.

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited occupational therapy assistant program.
Valid state Occupational Therapy Assistant license.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and basic internet navigation.

Responsibilities

Assist in screening and provide input to initial evaluations.
Implement treatment for assigned patients per plan of care.
Comply with documentation and billing guidelines.
Establish and maintain effective patient-centered interactions with patients, interdisciplinary team members, and facility staff.
Provide direct supervision to rehabilitation technicians during group and individual treatment.
Participate in utilization review, case management, care conferences, and administrative meetings as directed by the occupational therapist.
Maintain awareness of changes in patient conditions and programs and communicate patient progress in a timely manner.
Maintain confidentiality of organizational, facility, and patient information.
Conduct oneself in an ethical, legal, and professional manner at all times.
