Job summary

Stonecreek Health and Rehabilitation in Kentucky is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant to provide services under the supervision of a licensed OT, helping residents regain independence and participate in daily activities.

You will work with an interdisciplinary team, ensure quality patient care, and complete documentation in accordance with regulations while supporting rehabilitation technicians. This role emphasizes growth and resident-focused care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited occupational therapy assistant program.
• Valid state OTA license.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic internet navigation.

Responsibilities

• Assist in screening and input to initial evaluations as appropriate.
• Implement treatment for assigned patients in accordance with the established plan of care.
• Comply with state and federal guidelines regarding documentation and billing.
• Establish and maintain effective patient-centered interactions with patients and staff.
• Provide direct supervision to rehabilitation technicians during group and individual treatment.
• Participate in utilization review, case management, and care conferences as directed.
• Maintain awareness of changes in patient conditions and communicate progress timely.
• Maintain confidentiality of organizational, facility, and patient information.
• Conduct oneself in an ethical, legal, and professional manner and perform other duties as assigned.
