The Glen Retirement System is seeking an LPN (Charge Nurse) to provide clinical leadership within a resident-focused household. You will perform nursing duties to ensure effective daily care and services aligned with each resident’s assessment and plan of care.

Responsibilities include supervising staff, mentoring teammates, and communicating residents' medical needs to families and physicians, while upholding person-directed care in a long-term care setting.

Qualificações

• Louisiana LPN licensure in good standing.
• 1+ year nursing experience (long term care preferred).
• CPR certification.
• IV certification.
• Commitment to person-directed care and dementia care experience preferred.
• Proficient in medical terminology and computer use (EHR, Outlook).
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a household.
• Capable of leading clinical staff and mentoring teammates.

Responsabilidades

• Provide clinical leadership within the household and deliver direct nursing care.
• Ensure compliance with licensing regs and internal care standards.
• Lead and mentor household staff to maintain resident-directed care.
• Communicate residents' needs clearly with staff and families.
• Support care plans and daily activities to enhance quality of life for residents.
