Job summary

Victorian Senior Care in North Carolina is seeking a Dietary Aide to assist with meal preparation and serving, maintain a clean dining area, and ensure residents receive beverages and food in a courteous, timely manner.

You will help with stocking, cleaning, laundry coordination for the dining area, and adherence to resident rights and facility policies as part of ongoing staff education requires, under ED/Administrator guidance.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, understand and follow directions.

Responsibilities

• Make beverages (coffee, tea, juices) and serve residents in a courteous, timely manner.
• Ensure tables are properly set with items (butter, jelly, sugar, etc.).
• Help portion out desserts and assist with stocking of pantry when groceries arrive.
• Keep dining room, stockrooms and refrigerators clean and organized.
• Wash dishes, sweep and mop dining and stockroom areas, and empty trash daily.
