Hope Springs seeks a compassionate Dietary Aide to join our culinary team and serve nutritious meals to residents. You will assist in meal preparation, portioning, and serving according to dietary plans, while maintaining cleanliness in kitchen and dining areas.

This role supports residents by helping with meal setup and ensuring a positive dining experience. Candidates should value teamwork, safety, and excellent service.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
• Ability to follow directions and work efficiently as part of a team.
• Compassion for and a desire to work with the elderly.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.

Responsibilities

• Meal assistance: help prepare, portion, and serve meals to residents according to dietary plans.
• Sanitation & cleanliness: maintain kitchen and dining areas, wash dishes and equipment.
• Resident support: assist with meal setup and serving to ensure a positive dining experience.
• Food safety: follow all food safety protocols for storage, handling and sanitation.
• Inventory support: assist in receiving and storing food, notify shortages to Dietary Manager.
• Team collaboration: work with dietary team to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
• Resident engagement: fulfill special dietary requests and accommodate preferences during meals.
