Job summary

Community Link, Inc. provides daily living support in Community Integrated Living Arrangements (CILA) under supervision from the CILA Team Leader and Supported Living Program Manager.

Responsibilities include assisting residents with activities of daily living, community integration, and documenting care. The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to pass TABE with 80% or higher.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or G.E.D.
• Experience working in a residential setting with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred.
• Must have a valid driver's license and valid auto insurance.
• Must pass the Test of Adult Basic Education (TABE) with an eighty percent or higher.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.

Responsibilities

• Provide training and guidance to residents in daily living activities and community integration.
• Provide direct personal care or oversight as needed.
• Maintain positive relationships with residents and families and communicate effectively.
• Monitor and document residents' medication needs and report health issues.
• Assist residents with transportation and community resources.
• Complete required documentation and manage household supplies.
• Follow safety procedures and participate in safety drills.
