Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Licensed CNA or Medication Aide in state within 120 days.
• Less than 1 year experience in a people-related field; food service helpful.

Responsibilities

• Assists residents with all facets of daily living, including meals, medications, bathing, housekeeping and laundry.
• Gathers information such as lunch count and submitting maintenance/meal substitutions.
• Administers resident medications according to policy; if Med Aide trained.
• Reports changes in residents' condition or behavior to the Nurse to ensure continuity of care.
• Records clinical data with accuracy (temperature, pulse, respiration).
• Answers call lights, assists with activities, and prepares rooms for admission/transfer/discharge.
