Job summary

TCN Harbor House in Yellow Springs, OH is seeking a Graveyard Shift Resident Counselor who monitors residents, provides clinical duties as needed, assists with daily living tasks, and facilitates groups and activities to support safety and treatment goals.

You will document progress, maintain charts, and ensure adherence to policies. The role requires a valid Ohio driver’s license, CPR/First Aid, and de-escalation training. Shift is full-time and on-site at Harbor House.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: Some experience with substance abuse and mental health populations preferred; competencies required.
• Certification: CDCA or above; SWA or above preferred; CPR; First Aid; AEGIS (De-escalation); Medication Monitoring.
• Other: Valid Ohio driver’s license; proof of automobile insurance; meet ODADAS licensure/certification requirements; competencies for working with SUD/mental health disorders.

Responsibilities

• Resident Support: design/participate in resident activities; identify treatment needs; facilitate groups; reinforce house rules; monitor medication administration; oversee health status; ensure safety and cleanliness; transport clients as needed.
