Job summary

Harbor is seeking a Behavior Health Tech to join the Toledo team. This role provides direct care to residents’ daily activities, oversees household operations, and maintains clinical records on each resident’s behavior.

The position is part-time, scheduled 6:45a - 3:15p with rotating weekends. Requires a high school diploma or GED; Medical Assistant Certification or a Bachelor's in a human service field is preferred. CPR/First Aid and CPI/NCI must be obtained within 90 days.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
Medical Assistant Certification or Bachelor's in human services preferred.
Experience in delivering behavioral health services preferred.
CPR/First Aid and NCI/CPI certifications required within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

Assist with monitoring and maintaining residents' daily household assignments, schedules and activities.
Ensure appointments with outside providers and social activities are in accordance with driving policies.
Monitor and document residents’ activities through hourly check logs and report observations to the clinical team.
Prepare and send shift reports at end of shift.
Maintain clinical records nightly and accurately.
Conduct safety checks and room searches as scheduled to ensure safety.
Handle meals and serving to ensure proper portions.
Complete all tasks per safety and infection control procedures.
