Job summary

Archie Hendricks Sr. Skilled Nursing Facility in Sells, AZ seeks an entry-level Administrative Clerk to support Nurses and staff with clerical tasks and provide friendly service to residents and visitors. Work shifts may be 10 or 12 hours.

In this role you will greet people, route calls, process messages, schedule appointments, assist with chart audits, and help with purchasing and inventory as needed, while upholding safety rules and quality programs and ensuring a clean, organized work area.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 1–3 months related experience or training.

Responsibilities

• Greet and direct residents, visitors, and staff in a positive, professional manner.
• Coordinate admissions, transfers and discharges with nursing staff.
• Receive and direct calls and deliver messages to staff or residents.
• Place calls to physicians and others as requested by staff.
• Schedule all appointments, tests, treatments, and transportation.
• Assist with purchasing and inventory and ensure charts have correct forms.
