Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree (B.S.) in Nursing or AS degree in Nursing with relevant experience and/or training.
• Current RN license in the State of Arizona. CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Assesses, plans, implements and evaluates total care for the residents.
• Gives direct total care to residents according to their needs and/or assigns these functions to appropriate personnel.
• Teaches and assists residents to reach their maximum attainable state of well-being.
• Performs and records therapeutic measures prescribed and delegated by medical authority, i.e. medications and treatment.
• Makes rounds with physicians and assists as needed.
• Continuously evaluates symptoms, reactions and progress of residents and observes, records and reports to appropriate person.
• Applies nursing theory and practice toward the goal of quality resident care and promotion of health practices.
• Organizes, administers and supervises the implementation of a written nursing care plan for each resident.
