CMHA-CEI in Michigan is seeking a Residential Services Assistant for Adult Mental Health Services to support individuals with severe and persistent mental illness in residential or supported living settings.

Under supervision, you will assist with daily living skills, medication management, transportation, crisis intervention, and participation in community activities, with a schedule including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Must obtain and maintain certification in Department of Community Health Group Home Skill Training (paid by CMHA-CEI).
• Ability to read and follow medication charts; effective written and verbal communication required.
• Must be physically able to lift and transfer residents.
• Valid Michigan driver's license and reliable transportation required.

Responsabilités

• Assist in personal care and treatment of residents with severe mental illness.
• Support daily living skills including medication management, meal prep, laundry and interpersonal communication.
• Provide crisis intervention as needed and maintain required documentation.
• Provide transportation to activities, appointments, social and community events as needed.
• Attend mandatory staff meetings and in-service training sessions.
