CMHA-CEI is a Michigan Certified Gold Level Veteran Friendly Employer. Adult Mental Health Services seeks a Residential Aide to assist individuals with severe mental illness in residential or supported living settings.

Responsibilities include skill acquisition, transportation, and maintaining documentation in a community-facing role. The role involves crisis intervention as needed and supporting residents in daily living activities, with opportunities to participate in community activities.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED.
• Must obtain CMHA-CEI Department of Community Health Group Home Skill Training certification.
• Ability to read and follow medication charts.
• Ability to communicate clearly in writing and verbally.
• Must have valid Michigan driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Criminal background check and pre-employment drug screen required.
• Physically able to lift and transfer residents.

Responsabilités

• Assist in personal care and treatment of residents.
• Support skill acquisition and independence for residents.
• Provide transportation to activities and appointments.
• Assist with medication management and daily living skills training.
• Maintain required documentation and help residents participate in community activities.
• Attend mandatory staff meetings and in-service trainings.
