CMHA-CEI in Lansing, Michigan seeks a Residential Services Assistant to support individuals with severe mental illness in residential or supported living settings.

Under supervision, you will assist with personal care, medication management, daily living skills, documentation, and participation in community activities. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, certification in Group Home Skill Training, a valid Michigan driver’s license, and the ability to lift and transfer residents.

Formación

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Must obtain and maintain certification in Department of Community Health Group Home Skill Training.
• Able to read and follow written instructions.
• Must read and follow medication charts; communicate clearly in writing and verbally.
• Physically able to lift and transfer residents per policy.
• Must have reliable transportation.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in personal care and treatment of individuals with mental illness.
• Implement skill acquisition and stages of change per service plan.
• Provide crisis intervention when needed.
• Support residents with daily living skills: medication management, meals, cleaning.
• Maintain required documentation and participate in team meetings and trainings.
