The role involves direct nursing care under supervision, Mandt instructor duties, and leading safety and de-escalation efforts on inpatient wards.

Qualifications

• Experience equal to eighteen months of full-time work as a nursing or therapeutic assistant in a health care facility or equivalent.
• One year of post high school education with emphasis in nursing or social/behavioral sciences may substitute for experience.

Responsibilities

• Orient to and learn the Resident Treatment Worker role providing direct nursing care.
• Become a Certified Mandt Instructor and teach Mandt techniques to staff.
• Lead safety efforts on inpatient wards, respond to escalations, and model de-escalation techniques.
