Job summary

Inspired Living in Lakewood Ranch is seeking a Resident Care Supervisor to lead our overnight care team. You will supervise staff, ensure high-quality, compassionate care, and support smooth shift changes while safeguarding resident dignity.

The role requires a current Med-Tech and CPR/First Aid, CNA preferred, and prior supervision experience. You will coordinate with clinical leadership, track resident conditions, and help maintain a safe, respectful, welcoming community.

Qualifications

• Supervisory or management experience required.
• Strong communication and organizational skills required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the care team during the overnight shift.
• Ensure residents receive high-quality, compassionate care.
• Support smooth shift changes and communicate important resident updates.
• Assist with medication management and medication-related responsibilities as permitted by state regulations.
• Monitor residents for changes in condition, medication side effects, incidents, and other concerns.
• Communicate with clinical leadership, healthcare providers, pharmacies, residents, and families as needed.
• Respond to resident and family questions or concerns as the supervisor on duty.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living according to their care plans.
• Maintain accurate documentation and protect resident privacy and confidentiality.
• Report incidents, accidents, suspected abuse, grievances, and changes in resident condition promptly.
• Review resident care plans and communicate changes in resident needs to the clinical team.
• Help maintain a clean, safe, organized, and welcoming community.
• Support meals, activities, and social programs when needed.
• Step in wherever you're needed to help our residents and team succeed.

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Current Med-Tech certification and CPR/First Aid required.
• CNA certification preferred.
• Associate or Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
• Prior supervisory or management experience required.
• 3+ years of assisted living or memory care experience preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel preferred.
• A compassionate, dependable leader who treats every resident with dignity and respect.
