Job summary

Inspired Living in Lakewood Ranch is seeking a Resident Care Supervisor to lead the overnight care team and ensure high-quality, compassionate care for residents. You will guide care staff, assist with medications as allowed, monitor changes in health, document diligently, protect privacy, and communicate with families and clinicians to keep residents safe and well cared for.

This role requires a high school diploma, Med-Tech CPR/First Aid, supervisory experience, and 3+ years in assisted living

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Med-Tech certification and CPR/First Aid required.
• CNA certification preferred.
• Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Prior supervisory or management experience required.
• 3+ years of assisted living or memory care experience preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with Word and Excel preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the overnight care team.

Welcome to Inspired Living! We're looking for a Resident Care Supervisor to join our Lakewood Ranch team and help lead exceptional care during our overnight shift.

As Resident Care Supervisor, you'll be a hands-on leader responsible for supporting our residents, guiding our care team, and making sure each resident receives compassionate, respectful, and personalized care.

What You'll Do

• Lead and supervise the care team during the overnight shift.
• Ensure residents receive high-quality, compassionate care.
• Support smooth shift changes and communicate important resident updates.
• Assist with medication management and medication-related responsibilities as permitted by state regulations.
• Monitor residents for changes in condition, medication side effects, incidents, and other concerns.
• Communicate with clinical leadership, healthcare providers, pharmacies, residents, and families as needed.
• Respond to resident and family questions or concerns as the supervisor on duty.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living according to their care plans.
• Maintain accurate documentation and protect resident privacy and confidentiality.
• Report incidents, accidents, suspected abuse, grievances, and changes in resident condition promptly.
• Review resident care plans and communicate changes in resident needs to the clinical team.
• Help maintain a clean, safe, organized, and welcoming community.
• Support meals, activities, and social programs when needed.
• Step in wherever you're needed to help our residents and team succeed.

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Current Med-Tech certification and CPR/First Aid required.
• CNA certification preferred.
• Associate or Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
• Prior supervisory or management experience required.
• 3+ years of assisted living or memory care experience preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel preferred.
• A compassionate, dependable leader who treats every resident with dignity and respect.
