Job summary

Springbrook NY Inc in Town of Oneonta, NY seeks an Assistant Residential Manager to lead a home and ensure shelter, safety, and serenity for residents. You will collaborate with the Residential Manager to support planning, programming, and staff supervision.

You will hire, train, and supervise engagement staff, coordinate weekly resident meetings, and supervise documentation, medication audits, and medical appointments. A flexible schedule and strong communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or GED; an associate degree is preferred.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Must complete New Manager Orientation and Leadership Training Program.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule.
• Proficiency with MS Excel, Outlook and Word; able to learn other software.

Responsibilities

• Hire, train, and supervise engagement and performance management of staff with Residential Manager.
• Coordinate daily resident planning through weekly meetings and trips.
• Mentor new hires within first 6 months.
• Ensure accurate documentation each shift and use shift reports effectively.
