Job summary

Century Park Associates delivers quality assisted living services in Utah, helping residents maximize independence in accordance with care plans. The role reports to the Resident Care Director and is based at 60 E 3750 S, South Salt Lake City.

This full-time position offers benefits and requires CPR certification; CNA/Home Health Aide credentials are preferred, with prior senior care experience encouraged.

Qualifications

• Provide compassionate daily living assistance following care plans.
• Maintain resident dignity and privacy while assisting with ADLs.
• Demonstrate empathy and effective communication with seniors.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (dressing, toileting, hair care, bathing).
• Read 24 hour log at shift start.
• Conduct routine rounds and check resident care needs.
• Assist with clothing selection appropriate for weather.
• Help incontinent residents stay clean and dry.
• Support ambulation with walkers or canes.
• Assist during meals and encourage participation.
• Encourage participation in activities.
• Shampoo hair weekly if needed.
• Make beds and perform light housekeeping in apartments and common areas.
• Prepare residents for activities, meals, appointments.
• Deliver meals or assist with feeding as needed.
• Verify attendance at meals and follow up if not attending.
• Report changes in resident conditions to nurse or director.
• Welcome new residents and assist with adjustment.
• Assist with packing/unpacking and labeling belongings.
• Adhere to infection control guidelines.

High school diploma or equivalent

State Trained Nursing Assistant certification (if required by State)

CNA certification or Home Health Aide certification preferred
