Job summary

EGRETCOVE in Saint Petersburg, FL seeks a dedicated Resident Care Assistant to provide daily care and services per the resident's assessment and care plan, under supervision.

You will document care activities, report changes to nursing leadership, ensure resident comfort, protect privacy, and follow facility policies to maintain a safe, respectful environment for all residents in your care.

Qualifications

• Must possess, as a minimum, a high school education or its equivalent.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers and employees.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine daily care and services per care plan.
• Report changes in residents’ condition to supervisors.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident information and report unauthorized disclosures.
• Assist residents with daily activities and mobility as needed.
• Ensure residents' rooms are prepared and residents are comfortable.
• Follow policies and safety guidelines to protect residents.
