Qualifications

• CPR & First Aid certification required or completed within 30 days of employment.
• Valid driver’s license or state ID required.
• Background check must be within company standards (no assault, bodily harm, weapons or drug charges).
• Successful completion of a drug screen is required.
• Strong communication skills are essential for resident interactions and documentation.
• Good organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
• Team collaboration is critical to ensure resident safety and program success.

Responsibilities

• Ensure residents are safe and not exposed to danger at all times.
• De-escalate residents and report unsafe environmental circumstances.
• Maintain professionalism, seek training, and stay informed about mental health disorders.
• Be punctual, notify supervisor when absent, and request time off in writing two weeks ahead.
• Collaborate with team and follow chain of command to resolve conflicts.
• Adhere to Medication Assistance policies and verify correct resident, medication, and schedule.
• Respect resident privacy and dignity during Psycho Social Rehabilitation activities.
• Complete thorough documentation promptly and communicate intershift updates.
• Keep environment clean by following daily rounds and checklists.
• Prepare meals per weekly menu and label/store leftovers appropriately.
