Job summary

Paradigm Healthcare is seeking a compassionate, driven and fun-spirited Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team. You will provide direct nursing care under supervision and in accordance with state and federal regulations and facility policy.

Responsibilities include assisting with transfers, bathing, dressing, eating, vital signs, and ensuring resident comfort with dignity and respect at all times. Our team emphasizes support, ongoing learning and quality resident care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Current, unencumbered CNA certification in Texas.
• 2 years of Long-Term Care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care as directed by a nurse and in line with regulations and facility policies.
• Perform resident care duties such as transferring, toileting, bathing, dressing, eating and hydration, and vital signs.
• Document and report observations and care given to residents to the nursing supervisor promptly.
• Ensure nursing interventions are performed in a timely and professional manner.
• Treat residents with kindness, dignity and privacy in all interactions.
• Follow facility policies and procedures and communicate with other resident services.
• Coordinate and communicate nursing services with the care team for resident well-being.
