Job summary

Reflections Retirement Community in Harrisburg, IL seeks an experienced nurse leader to supervise the clinical team and oversee resident care plans. You will coordinate wellness assessments, disease prevention, and patient education while maintaining high standards of safety and privacy.

Qualifications

• Must maintain current state nursing licensure (LPN required; RN preferred).
• Minimum of two years nursing supervisory experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrates leadership ability and a ability to mentor and inspire staff.
• Demonstrates compassionate interpersonal care toward residents and families.

Responsibilities

• Conducts initial assessment of prospective residents and visits as needed.
• Performs wellness assessments and develops individualized care plans.
• Delivers health promotion services and disease prevention counseling.
• Approximately 20% of hours provide hands-on nursing and direct care.
• Engages residents and families with compassionate, meaningful interactions.
• Fosters communication with physicians and healthcare providers.
• Leads clinical team through hiring, training, and scheduling.
• Coordinates infection control program and regulatory compliance.
• Oversees medication management and participates in QA initiatives.
• Ensures confidentiality and privacy of resident information.
