Job summary

The Good Samaritan Society is seeking a dedicated caregiver for the Day shift at our Sioux Falls, SD location. This full-time role (32 hours weekly) involves medication administration, daily living support, and general resident care in a compassionate environment.

A SD Med Aide license is required at time of hire; the team follows safety protocols and provides a supportive, family-like work culture. Competitive pay and benefits available.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred or required depending on state.
• Must complete and maintain medication administration training per state guidelines.
• If a lift is used to move residents, must meet minimum state age requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide care and services such as medication administration and ADL assistance.
• Obtain vital signs and report health status changes.
• Assist residents with bathing, dressing, transfers, and mobility.
• Follow OSHA/CDC guidelines and aseptic techniques to minimize infections.
